Terms of Service

By creating an account or using AIVerID services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

01Definitions

AIVerID
Our sign-in and digital identity service at aiverid.com.
Services
All features, tools, and functionality provided by AIVerID.
User / You
Any individual or entity that creates an account or uses our Services.
AI Rights records
The AIVID, AIPLT and SLIVR records created with your account.
OAuth Applications
Apps and services, including AI assistants, that use AIVerID to sign you in.

02Account Registration

To use AIVerID services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Important: You may not create multiple accounts or transfer your account to another person without our written permission.

03AI Rights Records

Your account comes with three records: AIVID, AIPLT and SLIVR. You understand that:

  • They are entries in our database, not tokens on a blockchain
  • They belong to your account and cannot be transferred without our written permission
  • An OAuth Application receives them only if it asks for them and you approve
  • We may add new kinds of records or change existing ones

04Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use AIVerID services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with service operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the service for spam or fraudulent activities
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

05OAuth and Third-Party Integrations

When using “Sign in with AIVerID” or integrating with third-party services:

  • Each application shows you what it will receive, and nothing is shared before you approve
  • You can revoke access at any time through your dashboard
  • Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies
  • We are not responsible for third-party service practices
  • OAuth tokens expire and can be refreshed as needed

06Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of AIVerID are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • The AIVerID™ name and logo are our trademarks
  • You retain ownership of content you create or upload
  • You grant us a license to use your content for service operation
  • You may not use our intellectual property without permission

07Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is protected as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points include:

  • Your password is stored only as a bcrypt hash, and your name and any ID card number are encrypted (AES-256-GCM)
  • We never sell your data to third parties
  • You can ask us for a copy of your data, for corrections, or to erase your account at any time

08Fees and Payments

AIVerID is currently free to use. We take no payments and hold no card details. If we introduce a paid feature, it will be described in these Terms, and its price will be shown before you pay.

09Disclaimers and Limitations

Service disclaimer: AIVerID services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim all warranties of merchantability and fitness
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us
  • Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIVerID, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your use or misuse of the Services
  • Content you submit or share through the platform

11Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

  • By you: ask us to erase your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy
  • By us: for violations of these Terms or harmful conduct

Upon termination:

  • Your access to Services will be disabled
  • Before your account is erased, you can ask us for a copy of your data
  • A small record stays so that your account number is never given to anyone else, as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations

12Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AIVerID operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  • Disputes will first be resolved through good faith negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration
  • Class action lawsuits and jury trials are waived
  • Small claims court remains available for qualifying disputes

13Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

  • We’ll notify you via email or platform notification
  • The updated Terms will be posted with a new date
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
  • If you disagree with the changes, you can ask us to erase your account
